About This Module
This module guides you through the steps needed to turn in various types of assigned assignments to your instructor. You may also be asked to complete a Peer Review for a fellow student’s assignment. When you see a Peer Review that you must complete, you are being asked to provide feedback that will be seen by your classmate and the instructor.
Canvas allows for many different assignment types. You can go through this module and learn how to turn in each assignment type, or you may select the link to a specific assignment type below.
- File Upload
- Text Entry
- Website URL
- Media Submission
- Cloud Assignment (if your instructor has Google or Office 365 installed)
After completing this module, you will be able to:
- Find where the instructor places the Assignment directions
- Know what type of Assignment your instructor is asking you to submit or turn in
- Locate the due date of the Assignment
- Know what a Canvas Rubric is and how to use it for a Peer Review
General Tips for Assignment Submissions:
- Keep uploads less than 500 MB
- Your instructor will decide what type of submissions are allowed. You may also have the option to resubmit assignments if your instructor allows.
- Not all of your assignments may be submitted online. If you cannot see the "Submit Assignment" link, your instructor may want you to submit your assignment in a different way, or the availability date has passed.
- View the description of the assignment for instructions, or contact your instructor for assistance.
If you complete all of the module requirements, you can collect the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Passport Stamp.
